Our client is a multi-national enterprise with over 2,000 employees, who provide packaging solutions in the Food, Beverage and Industrial sectors.

Due to recent growth a position has arisen for an experienced Process Engineer to join their Engineering team. You will work within a small , but dynamic team of engineers and technicians managing projects of various scales offering creative solutions with a key focus on continuous improvement within a lean manufacturing environment. Your problem solving, analytical skills along with the ability to think innovatively through a collaborative manner will be well utilised.  

Responsibilities of this role include the following:

  • Investigate all requirements of a project with respect to capital outlay and productivity
  • Estimate all costs, labor, time requirements and impact on production associated with a project
  • Prepare Justification Reports for Capital Appropriation.
  • Provide creative engineering design solutions using the “Creativity before Capital” philosophy.
  • Produce engineering models and detailed drawings adhering to sound engineering principles and drawing standards.
  • Ensuring high attention to detail, commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and safety

To be considered for this role you must have –

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient with 3D CAD modelling software
  • Highly concentrated experience in similar positions (preferably within the Manufacturing Industry)
