Senior Auditor - Assurance in Accounting Jobs

As a senior assurance accountant you will have the skill set to take on the responsibilities below and have the desire to develop and lead in a professional second tier setting.

Duties will include,

• Audit planning approach and strategy;
• Interim and year end audit visits;
• facilitating training and development of staff;
• preparation and assurance of general and special purpose financial reports;
• providing guidance and supervision to a team of accountants;
• client networking, relationship building and relationship maintenance;
• contribution to tender opportunities;
• embracing and contributing to firm ethos.

As the successful candidate you will have over 3 years experience preferably in an Australian setting and have held a position in a professional services accounting firm.  Your communication skills and professionalism will allow you to maintain and build internal and external relationships effectively.  Your experience will allow you to quickly identify audit and inherent risks and to calculate total audit risk and materiality levels effectively. Working directly with the partner, you will take ownership and responsibility for your work and clients, driving positive results. You will have a strong analytical foundation and an excellent eye to detail.
