Our client is currently seeking intermediate accountants from a professional services background to fill the role of financial accountant. This role offers progression in the short to mid-term to group accountant level for the right candidate as well as ongoing personal development and training fully supported.
Duties will include, but are not limited to;
· Financial recording and reporting
· Financial analysis
· Providing advice to internal stakeholders
· Financial management and research
· Driving continual improvement
· Tax advice and document preparation including; FBT, GST and income tax
· BAS lodgement
· Assisting with audit duties
· Other duties as required
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ experience within a business services, audit or other professional service accounting field and be looking to make a transition into the commercial environment. Having completed or being close to completing their CA or CPA studies, the ideal candidate will have the qualifications and experience coupled with exceptional communication skills required to convey improvement ideas successfully.
